Retro

If I were going to buy a SS, it would be from these guys. I dig the retro design.

These days I think a lot about the simple or retro stuff with high end parts. The complex full suspension designs are certainly fun to ride, but sometimes I think it's getting away from the true simplicity and beautifulness of the way a bicycle should be.

Old designs, modern geometry and comfort, precision parts...

My favorite bike is my steel single speed!

They make awesome looking bikes and have great custom painting options but the frames cost as much as my entire On-One!
I looked at them, but decided to go low-fi instead.
I am with Jeff; Steel is Real!

And Curtis Inglis is a really cool guy. And he actually rides his bike!

Jeff - my steel roadie is great. I know what you mean.

Blue - getting close to 3000 miles yet?

Oldman - you know money is no object for me. HA!

Anonymous - I guess it is a good sign that he trust them enough to ride them himself.

Cool bikes. I'd like to get a custom paint job on my bike someday. Hope the baby is doing well.

morgan says he's getting one for his mid life crises - instead of a fast car and a toupe' like most middle aged men do
