Special Delivery

Another piece for the Retro Rocket project arrived today from Banana_Brain. I still have a few things to buy and hope to have the bike built by April or May.

The 3M Half Marathon is on Sunday and our team is ready.

I am the one of the far right.

Ya gots ta love Gum rubber hoods!
And brake-only levers. Wow; now that takes me back to my Vitus 992 days. Down tube mounted shifters and 8 speeds.
What frame are you putting these choice parts on? Can't wait to see the final product.

Oldman, it is a steel frame from a small company in CA - Cicli Rossetto. Nothing spectacular, but it should be cool.

Anne, I am not sure what I will still need. The only thing that will be Campy is the drivetrain, but since it will be 10 speeds, it will be new. Let me take an inventory and get back to you. Thanks.
