Wow; that is going to leave a mark!Guess I'll stick to the road. It's much safer out there. :^)
I like the Catus-icles. All the goodness of real fruit with just a hint of a tongue-shreading surprise!
Oldman - yes, they are very unique to the taste buds.
That guy actually survived that heinous fall. You can get all the details at www.mountainbikebill.com/MilesCrash.htm
I don't like watching that video, for the same reason I don't like plane-crash movies right before I take a trip. It's too easy to make a mental mistake and fall the wrong way on a trail with serious exposure. Better to believe nothing bad will happen.
i wonder where that is. it looks like moab. we rode there a few times on trails like that.
freaked me out.
and i agree with tim. i'm a scardy cat.
Lauren - when I rode in Moab 13 years ago we did a trail called the Poison Spider trail. There was a drop off on that thing that was like 1000 feet straight down. We stuck our heads over the edge and spit. A few people had already apparently died there prior to us riding it. All of us got off and walked past the drop except one of my friends. There always has to be one. I should have whooped his ass for being so dumb. Anyway, according to the link Tim posted the video happened in Carrizo Gorge 70 miles east of San Diego.
whoaaaaaaa.........
i'm going to moab in june. i'll be really careful!
peace out, yo!
You were serious about winter coming to you. ICED Cactus?
Check out some of the cliff riding over at Hans Rey's site. Specifically, the "Hans' & Peaty's Irish Pub Crawl" article. The cliff pictures make my hands sweat! 600 feet tall cliffs with a straight drop into the ocean!
