The Results Are In

My coach at Wenzel Coaching, James Karthauser, needed some lactate threshold information for my June training plan. I had the testing done by a fitness coach in Austin named Sean Ahmadi who is at Pinnacle Elite Fitness.

The pain chamber.

Feeling pretty good here.

Starting to hurt a bit now.

After the testing I was able to sneak in a ride with my favorite riding partner, The Bug.

Lauren - yeah. I wish. I didn't know my body fat so he just estimated. I am sure it is higher than that.

Oldman - I asked him to give me the 11 treatment. He said that they just made 10 go higher. I didn't get it.

Dude, I needed that mask thing that one time in the car coming back from LaCasita.

Does part of the testing package include the guy taking photos of you so you can post on your blog?

Nice numbers bro, keep it up.

My first thought when I saw the pictures of you in the pain chamber was "Silence of the Lambs". That mask is sort of Hannibal Lecterish...

Yeah, the mask is freaky. It is even more freaky wearing it when you really start to suck wind. My lips were doing some sort of twitching thing under there.

Bug definitely gets his looks for his mom.

Sully, the pictures were free of charge.

Way to go!!!!

BTW, isn't wearing something over your face during this kind of test pure torture? I did a VO2 max treadmill test a couple of years ago. Crap, that was painful.

The Bug is adorable.
