Who Gives a FU@K
Vino tests positive for a transfusion. That's great. Just fucking great. There are no more heroes, folks. I can't even get my mind around it at this point so I am done talking about it.
My new favorite show is - "Scott Baio is 45 and Single." I had no idea this guy was so cool (by cool I mean a dick). It is good for lots of laughs. You heard it here first.
I am racing this Thursday if the weather holds out. How is the weather today? Raining as usual. I feel like I am on Candid Camera and people laugh every time I go into a swearing fit because it is raining again.

I know, this is so depressing. I'm just going to get out there and ride, me, my very Un-Tour-like bike, and the road. I can look myself in the mirror. Good enough. Good luck with your upcoming race.
Hmmmm...the real heroes are the locals you know who keep climbing up the ranks.
Keep training when you can, and have some fun, darn it!
i can't believe that vino could be so selfish. goddddddddddd........
I have seen the Baio show and he is A gigantic dick. Can't believe he would be shallow enough to allow himself to be in a "reality" show like that. But then again, the pressure to be relevant is probably driving his stupidity.
But Vino; what the hell Dude. Is anybody clean in this sport anymore?
I do give Team Slipstream a lot of credit for being upfront on this issue and trying a tactic that could turn the sport around.
We will see.
and today's news and views from le tour are..... (drum roll here)
rasmussen's out for lying to his team about his wherabouts in june....
cofidis is out because christian moreni tested positive for excess testoserone.
yippee ki ayyyyyy.......
it's still raining there?! sheesh.
Still raining here.
Professional cycling is just a joke. Not just the riders making bad choices, but also the way issues are handled by organizers.
Oi - there is no end to the things washed up celebs will do to pay the bills.
As for Vino and these others, I can't believe the ABSOLUTE lack of respect they show for their sport and peers - not to mention the fans.
No, there are no more heroes. First Pantani, then others, then Tyler, then Floyd, then Vino, now Rasmussen, and I'm sure the list will go on and on from here. Whatever. I'm so done watching pro cycling. I like watching locals, amateurs, etc., esp. because they ALL look better than the Skinny Dane. Here's to real athletes: http://winterinwisconsin.blogspot.com/2007/07/fourth-of-july-cuties.html
It's not surprising really. When you have a bunch of corrupt corporations sponsoring racers, how can you expect the racers to be clean? Liars, cheaters, and thieves...it probably trickles down...
I haven't seen Scott B. since the days of Joanie loves Chachi...
I'm not looking for heroes, fortunately. I like watching guys do things I can't.
But that doesn't mean I want them to cheat in order to do it.
The whole debacle is tiring, in particular the lip service from the riders themselves. Do they really believe all their pseudo-bluster and disengenuous talk, followed by the unlikely excuses once they're caught? I appreciated the candor of Bjarne Riis.
I think a far better show would be "Fendergal is 41 and Single." I do much more interesting stuff in a day than Scott Baio, IMHO. Like a 10-mile time trial. Followed it up by leaving my cooler at the race. The cameras could watch me pitching a minor fit outside my building.
Fendergal - hopefully that cooler wasn't filled with ice cold beers.
