Early December
It is hard to believe that it is already December again and we just put up our Christmas Tree. Time really does fly.
Training has been OK at best. I was sick over Thanksgiving, so that put a damper on things. I had the typically fevery body ache thing. My finger joints even hurt. We have also had a spat of very windy weather here which hasn't made riding something to really look forward too. But, despite everything, it is coming around.
Tony turned 1 recently. It is hard to believe how fast my little dudes are growing. They will be shaving soon.
Tony got this car for his birthday and The Bug likes to push him around. Now if he would also change his diapers........
How good are you on the bike? Most of us think we are pretty good, all things considered. Here are two interesting stories about Lance Armstrong. Lance trains on the roads around my house. He sometimes rides with his buddy John Korioth. John is a 2008 National Champion in his age group for the road race and took 2nd in the Texas P/1/2 road race championships. Enjoy.

Hi Chris,
Thanks for the links, I really enjoyed reading them. Don't you just wanna get on the bike when you read something like that?
Soon the kids will be shaving their legs :-)
Cheers!
chris, holy crap! you're still around, buddy!
the boys are certainly growing! soon they'll know more than you do and will take every opportunity to let you know it. still, it's a good thing.
how often do you ride with lance? he apparently claims that he's planning to win the giro. and the tour. whoa! we'll see....
behave yourself!
Hi Chris, sorry to hear that you were sick over Thanksgiving. Hope you are all recovered and back in training mode. You must be dying to go start riding with your boys, hey?
Crocs? Are you kidding me? I thought you had more sophistication than to dress your kid in those things.
Wow. I thought I knew you . . . .
Boys are getting big. The two of them will be pulling your ass around town on their Pinarello's in no time! :^)
Say hi to Lance for me the next time you pass him on the road!
Thanks for links - Lance makes you want to ride!
You're little guys are so cute!!
Hope you're feeling better and back on the bike.
Good reading material! You ever see Lance out on his bike while you're riding and try to ride with him?
Training in the winter is certainly hard, but I gotta start my collegiate season training now, since the season starts in March.
Take it easy!
Sorry, Chris, two bike-racing-related topics that bore me the most are A. Lance's comeback, and B. anything with a power graph.
Anyway, cute kids! Stay healthy and have the happiest of holidays!
Fun with the little ones!
Crazy to read how you're starting to train for the season and CX is only just about wrapped up. I'm just going to be getting to a bit of off season.
Be as consistent as you can with the training.
merry christmas, chris!

Merry Christmas Chris!
Wishing you and yours a wonderful holiday!
Happy New Year,
Lily (freezing her ass off in the great white north)
