Auckland

I leave Auckland this morning after only being here about 24 hours. Here are a few pictures that I managed to take on this short and busy first leg.

My flight out of Los Angeles.

My home for 13 hours.

A shot of Karangahake Canyon which we had to drive through on our way to a customer visit.

A gold mine in Karangahake Canyon that was abandon in 1912.

Hopefully, I will have more time to take pictures later in the week in Australia.

oooh, 13 hours.

hopefully you didn't fly regular economy. no leg room for 13 hours just sounds dreadful.

I'm sure you were in first class, sipping champagne and sleeping on silk sheets all the way to Auckland, right? :^)
Have a safe trip but watch out for the spice in Thailand; it will bite you!

Blue - it sure does.

Lauren and Oldman - fortunately for me I can fly business class. It makes a big difference and I am grateful for it. I was actually able to sleep for 7 hours on the way over.

Lauren - I am in Brisbane today and I would say it is around 80. Tomorrow is the first day of winter here. So, not so hot right now.

I looked out the window all day and still saw no penguins.
